The Chicago Stamping Plant celebrated it's 50th Anniversary with an Open House on Sunday, August 6. Thousands of active employees, retirees, their spouses and friends attended and were treated to all kinds of activities including a tour of the plant, antique and new car shows, a mini Taste with all kinds of food, a health fair, blood drive, climbing towers and giant slide, a live band, kick box and karate demonstations and an awesome car crushing, engine roaring, display of Big Dawg Monster 4x4 power, crushing the competition into little, bitty, rusty pieces. Can you tell that was my favorite part of the day? Visit Big Dawg at his website BigDawg4x4.com.

Every family received a lovely souvenior clock with picture of the Ford plant. It was a great day. Pause your cursor over the pictures below for captions. Enjoy the pictures! - - -Barb
