A HOLIDAY DINNER DANCE TO REMEMBER
UAW Local 588 Retirees won't soon forget the 2005 Holiday Dinner Dance on December 8 when just over 200 Retirees braved a snowstorm that left up to 8" of snow on the area. Despite the snow and travel problems, retirees still celebrated the season with a festive dinner catered by Jimbooo's of South Holland, and dancing to music spun by DJ Tommy Tunes. Prizes were won by over 50 people with cash prizes won by Ann Jacobson, Gerhard Gehrig, Jimmy Wray and Bill Born. Serge Molinaro and Jerry Scott won designer watches. River Oaks Lincoln Mercury, River Oaks Ford and Van Drunen Ford donated 28 free oil changes. Retirees Robert and Deuanna Schlink donated 15 gifts of Stanley Home Products that were highly desired. The weather outside may have been frightful but the Retirees will tell you that the party inside was delightful!

 Happy Holidays 2005 Local 588 Retirees! This was just one of three yellow and chocolate cakes frosted with butter cream frosting. All three cakes generously served 220 people. |
