The wonder of Santa's lap...

FSLC Sherrie Reed, Santa and friend.

Santa and FS & LC's Sherrie Reed pass out toys to every child.

Of course, Santa is always the highlight of the Children's Holiday Party but this year those who attended received another wonderful surprise. Tom Canfield, with help from his daughter Hallie, pictured right, set up a train display to entertain adults and kids alike. It took Tom two days to set up the track that ran two trains; one an old fashioned steam engine train with real smoke and the other, every child's favorite, Thomas the Tank train.

Local 588 Officers Bill Jackson, far left, and Mike Jaroszewski made a blizzard of popcorn while, above right, Family Service and Learning Center (FS & LC) coordinators (L. - R.) Sherrie Reed and Monique Parsons with son, Emanuel, posed for a picture.

Cards made by children.

The FS & LC provided every kind of art supply for children to use to create unique and
beautiful holiday cards that will be distributed to sick children in hospitals this holiday season.
