COMPUTER TRAINING
Have you purchased a computer but not used it? Many people have tried to keep up with technology by purchasing a computer. Once they got it, they wondered why. If you have this latest technology but do not know how to use it, call the Learning Center. Bob or Diane are available every weekday for help. They can teach you how to use your computer, how to use the Internet, and how to care for and protect your computer. They can help with hardware repairs and upgrades plus virus and spyware protection. They also have a large library of software available. And, it's all free! Call them at 757-5700, extension 294, or stop in and see them in Room 116. If you don't have a computer yet, there are many computers available for use in the Learning Center. A security pass, good for one year, is necessary to enter the plant. REGULARLY SCHEDULED MEETINGS AND ACTIVITIESILLIANA FORD RETIREES MONTHLY MEETINGThe Illiana Ford Retirees meet for a breakfast meeting on the First Monday of every month. at 9:30 a.m. at the Richardson Restaurant in Toto, IN. You can't miss the restaurant, just look for the giant Indian standing outside and come on in. Everyone is welcome. RETIREES MONTHLY MEETINGThe UAW Local 588 Ford Retirees monthly meeting is held on the first Wednesday of each month in the Union Hall. The Pot Luck starts promptly at 12:00 noon with the social meeting following. There is a $3.00 charge for those who come to eat but do not bring a dish to share. About 100 retirees, spouses, widows and widowers attend this lively and informational meeting. Tommy Peebles, Ford Benefits Representative, is available before the meeting to help with benefits and insurance questions. UAW LOCAL 588 GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETINGThe UAW General Membership Meeting is for all Ford UAW Local 588 Employees and Retirees. It is scheduled for the second Sunday of each month at 2 p.m. at the Union Hall. KANKAKEE COMMUNITY FORD RETIREES MONTLY MEETINGEveryone is welcome to the Kankakee Community Ford Retirees monthly meeting held on the second Monday of every month at 10:00 a.m. at the Northfield Square Mall Food Court (at the north end of the mall) in Bradley, IL. Gilbert Kelly formed the informal coffee group over ten years ago. About 60 retirees and spouses get together every month. | ||

The next yoga session at the hall is tentatively scheduled to start Februay 1, 2007 if ten or more participants join. Class will be held every Thursday at 10:00 a.m. and will run for an hour and 15 minutes. Classes are free. You will need a yoga mat and comfortable clothes.
